About Us

I do a bit of this and that. I dance competitively, for fun at least when I can. I enjoy traveling, often taking cruises, and writing about it. Along with traveling, I enjoy photography. I’ve recently even taken up making jewelry – nothing fancy, but its fun. That’s been one way to help me add a new hobby to those I already enjoy. Another hobby I have is gardening. I have an entire website devoted to my garden.

But life throws us all sorts of things. Some are things we hope for, some we wish for, some we work for, and then some just were not on our lists at all. But that’s why its life. Life is what happens, whether we want it or not.

I’ve had my share of life’s troubles. But as long as I’m alive, I can do something about them. So we march on and find solutions. And that is part of what this website is about. Helping me find my solutions.

As for my interests: (all these are separate websites except writing)

• my garden – cheaper than therapy and you get tomatoes
• dance – really don’t worry, nobody’s watching you.  They’re too worried about themselves.
• photography – what a great way to remember where you’ve been and what you’ve done, this is in revision so the link no longer works
• travel – sometimes you just need to get away, and add photography and what a winning combination you have
• writing – sometimes they’re dreams, sometimes they’re nightmares, and sometimes they just need to get out of your brain

I’m not an optimist, but I don’t think I’m a pessimist. But I know life is what it is. Nobody guarantees us anything, we do what we can with what we have. Who knows what life will bring us? Not me, but here goes anyway.

My writing isn’t always about fun and games. Sometimes its just a way to cope, a way to express hopes and dreams, or a way to relieve our demons. And nobody said it is always good. But sometimes we just have the urge. And who knows, maybe my writing will get better with time.
